SIMPLE DECISION MAKING GAME
OVERVIEW OF THE GAME
· Can be played on either single player mode(No rewards if implemented) or against multiple opponents (Max 4)
· Hosted on the developers website
· Player must register at developers site in order to play
· Player gets educated on financial opportunities
· Player Scores can be submitted for ranking (Top 10 or 50 players will be published on site)
· The game has a choose your path type of theme and all players are given phases simultaneously to perform actions (Refer on Game Mechanics)
· Random events are introduced after the last phase of turns
· First to reach the target income wins (Must be free from loans or anything in particular)
· Banks will be implemented
· We can implement rewards on winners (In game tokens)
· Tokens can be used to unlock special avatar/character customization
BACKGROUND STORY
· The player is about to receive retirement money, wanting to invest. The computer provides the available direction of investment, the player provides the decision.
CONCEPT OF THE GAME
· To give the player freedom on his choice of investment, the initiative to move on more forward
· Player has a chance to make it big or end up with nothing at all
· To give the players the financial information, advice, tips on the different types of investments
· To inform the players why the financial institution will back him up in his investments, what’s the catch.
· To inform players about certain agendas or people who takes advantage
· To have fun playing the game
GAME MECHANICS
· Player can customize avatar or go with default looks (character looks)
· The Game Creator can choose the Target Income in order to win the game.
EX: $200,000 (we can set a minimum of $100,000)
· All players start off with the same amount of money and expenses
· The player is offered 4 choices of investments
1. Real Estate
2. Stocks
3. Bonds
4. Mutual Funds

· The Turn Phases:
TURN 1- Choosing Investment type
TURN 2- Cut Scene: A short financial educating on the desired choice (1~2 minutes)
- Player will be given a number of choices on type of Financial education
- EX:
A: Information I
B: Information II
C: Information III and so on
-This will allow the player to gather information since randomization of information given may result in constant repetition.
- IF players do not respond, a random one will be chosen for them
TURN 3- Viewing available opportunities (Clicking will allow a derailed view of the choice)
- EX.
A: Scenario 1
(Not Shown) = Normal Income gain
B: Scenario 2
(Not Shown) = Negative Income gain
C: Scenario 3
(Not Shown) = GREAT Income gain
D: Scenario 4
(Not Shown) = HIGH Income gain
TURN 4- Cut Scene: Alerts or Financial warnings about making bad choices
-Same Concept on TURN 2
-If players do not respond, a random one will be chosen for them
TURN 5- Decision Phase (Shows choices again on TURN 3 this time allowed to choose)
- Player decides what opportunity to take
- If play has previous investment, can sell to offer to other player
- Player can borrow from the bank
- Player is given ample time (5minutes)
- Player can review choice
- Are you Sure? YES OR NO BUTTON
- Clicking Yes will Ready the player for next turn
- If players do not respond, a random one will be chosen for them
TURN 6 - Computer Phase (A random event will occur)
- We can insert a good or bad event
- EX. Fall in stock, Rise in Stock etc.
TURN 7 - Outcome Phase (A financial rundown on all actions taken in decisions)
TURN 8 – Scoring/Ranking Phase (A run down on who has + income or - Income)
· After Scoring/Ranking phase its back to phase 1
· Player with negative income can declare bankruptcy and is booted out or can remain as a spectator.
· First to reach the target income with no loans etc. wins automatically. (Credited a prize token if applied)
· Score will be tallied, and rankings shown
· Players will be given the chance to pass scores to be ranked in the global rankings of the server
